My initial intention for this blog is to catalogue and share the seemingly random or tangential thoughts that arise from my learning experiences in life.
In other words, I hope to sort and project the memes that filter through my mental model of reality.
What will this look like?
1. I am a highly multifaceted human being. I have multiplicity of personality (not multiple personalities). This means my approaches, affiliations, values, interests, even skills; evolve, rotate, switch, tangent, arise, and diminish--moment to moment. The inevitable result of this is I will contradict myself and also, I may appear to be a lunatic. Que Sera.
2. My primary mode of functioning is curiosity. I am a learner of the universe, I absorb information in all (known) forms, I have an interest in anything interesting, I research everything, I integrate most information I receive, I can converse about any academic discipline, and-- most importantly-- I will discuss all of this information here. Do not expect a single form of input into this blog.
3. It will be evident that I obsess about some topics.
4. On occasion, I will not criticize or critique a particular subject if I am still undergoing research. An example of this is if I were to research "The Virtue of Selfishness" by Ayn Rand, I might appear to agree with her wholeheartedly despite the conclusion I reach on her work at the end of my research. Please try not to confuse what I write here with what I actually believe.
5. On occasion, I will come to conclusions (extreme to some) too quickly. An example of this is if I were to discuss anything regarding supernatural/religious belief. Deep down I will remain an agnostic in all areas regarding a belief in anything that has not been proven scientifically. However, I will come across, at times, as the most militant of atheists. I find that I must constantly reorient myself on highly emotional subjects such as Belief. I suppose this is due to what I discussed in my first point.
I may add to this list later-on. For now, as I write this introduction without spell-checking or proofreading, I leave this as a post-in-progress (a PIP if you will).
